FAQ

FAQ

Q: Is the pay rate available for job where it is not posted?

We do not have this information unless the employer has posted it on their job. It is possible that in the future we could provide a ballpark estimate.

Q: How long are bookmarked deleted jobs available for viewing?

The platform keeps a record of expired jobs for up to 90 days for review at a later date. These are still viewable in the “Bookmarked” and “Applied” tabs of the job match results dashboard.

Q: What is the source of the jobs?

Most jobs are directly from the employer’s website, approximately 70%. The remaining 30% are postings from a mix of job boards and Eco Canada employers uploading jobs directly to the platform. These jobs will be labelled as "Internal", with a toggle option to specifically filter and view.

Q: How many cities does the platform support?

Currently we are serving all of Canada. The platform enables jobseekers and employers to quickly filter to jobs within an appropriate commute distance.

Q: Approximately how many jobs are available?

There are usually between 70,000 - 90,000 open jobs indexed at any given time. This number fluctuates depending on seasonality and economic conditions.

Q: I see an expired job. Why?

This occasionally happens. Employers across Canada create and delete tens of thousands of jobs per week. If an employer’s website does not provide proper notice (404 response code), our system is unable to confirm that the job has been deleted. You can report the job as deleted by simply clicking the “Flag as Expired” button.

Q: Can I upload multiple resumes?

Yes, you can upload as many resumes as you like. You can view your uploaded resumes and add new ones in your dashboard at the following link:

Q: Can I upload an image of a resume?

No, unfortunately we cannot process images. Our system requires readable text to be saved inside the file. If possible, try to upload the original Microsoft Word or PDF file.

Q: Are resumes confidential?

Yes, all resumes are kept confidential until you submit them to an employer.
